I’m constantly stunned by the quality and importance of the work being done by the filmmakers employed by the fine folks at PBS. A prime example is this beautiful piece in Nature about the daily struggles of a family of snowy owls in Alaska. Yes, do yourself a service and watch the entire video. However, if short on time, then this amazing image of the marble-like eyes of one of the birds captures the beauty of the video in its entirety — and is what made me click play. I could stare at those golden eyes all day!
